OUTRAGEOUSLY DIFFICULT COMPANY TO WORK WITH

NEVER AGAIN. I Know, my mom always told me "Never, say Never." RC *** sold me this PROSCAN LEMON and then refused to do anything about my complaint except forward me to an 800 number for CURTIS INT support. I spent at least 20 minutes reporting every detail of my THREE RC *** receipt(s) and my Proscan documentation to a person who did not speak clear English. Then she put me on hold for another 10 or more minutes and then I got cut off. Curtis INT already had all my info and I was merely waiting for a reference number for my complaint. Do you think Curtis INT sent me anything in email or by snail mail or called and left me a voice message...*** NO. That was back in November and now its the end of February. DON'T BUY FROM RC *** BECAUSE THE CURTIS INT SUCKS FOR SERVICE AND COMPLAINTS. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE THROUGH THOSE RELIGIOUS CRACKPOTS AGAIN. I ALSO THINK CURTIS INT IS A COVER FOR ANOTHER RC *** COMPANY BUT I CAN'T PROVE THIS. STAY CLEAR OF BOTH COMPANIES. I CAN'T UPLOAD PHOTOS AND RECEIPTS AGAIN. YOU WILL HAVE TO EMAIL US.

Igloo Freezer

In August I bought an Igloo freezer from Walmart. Igloo, right? The first of March, the freezer just stopped. Since March, the Curtis International customer service department has put me off, requested the same email over and over, and now, promised a call or email this morning. No email, no call. After speaking with a “supervisor” they have put me off again.. Can Walmart help? Does this mean on “Chunk Your Junk” day in Frisco that I will be taking this thing to the dump? Oh yes! Will I forever avoid purchasing an Igloo, RCA, Curtis or Sylvania product? Yes. Will I tell my friends? Yep.

Poor product foreign service

couple months ago I purchased a Sylvania 10" digital photo frame. It did not make the 80 day mark before the picture faded to nothing. I spent almost 30 minutes on hold before a very foreign "nick" answered. He kept asking like I was *** whether I had depressed and held the on button. Well nick, the on button slides it doesn't depress. Then he said I needed to mail the product in......not to the address on the manufacture warranty label. That was no longer a valid address. Then he wanted a credit card number so he could charge me $7 more for a product I already spent over $70 for and countless time on the phone and internet. The product is difficult to work and the manual barely tells you anything. When I refused to give a credit card number, I was told he would accept a Western Union money order (it had to be western union) for the $7 charge. I am sending in the product and the money order but Sylvania and Curtis International can count me OUT of any future items they may have. I will also inform anyone who will listen about my experience . I do not recommend your products to anyone. I abhor your use of a foreign answering service. Your website is also a sign of how poor your product and service is .....there is not even a place for product reviews and a phone or fax is the only way to contact you.

I just opened the unit for install, as was given days ago for Christmas, and no sound whatsoever. Not for Bluetooth, radio, or cds. Naturally i call curtis customer service and after 10 mins of trouble shooting the unit, they state its defective. Ok no problem right? WRONG! As per their warranty service (the unit purchased under 1mo ago) i need to pay $7 over the phone to them in order for them to process my request!!! Excuse me, but the last thing any consumer should have to do is pay anything for your defective (right out of the box) equipment! The cust. service rep. explained that its their policy for all warranty claims. So i immediately hung up on them and have returned the item to the seller free of charge (take note curtis international ) and the seller is aware its defective! ! In my experience warranties are for the benefit of the consumer not of the manufacturer so you can just milk me for more money!! Pathetic, and shame on you Curtis international! !

Headphones don't work

I purchased a Sylvania Portable Dvd player with earphones. When the I plugged the earphones in I could only hear out of one side and not the other. Serial # A151115****001851 MODEL SDVD7060-COMBO G.ALSTON 5124 LEWIS FRASIER ROAD MIDWAY,GEORGIA . I would like my product replaced with a new set of pink headphones since the ones that I have does not work in my pink portable DVD player. I will be faxing pictures of the pink portable DVD player and with the receipt that I paid for this product. If it can't be replaced I want refund. Thanks, G.Alston

Worst customers services ever!!!! Day 3 of calling and emailing. I'm trying to get a return authorization number, so I can return a deep freezer to Best Buy. While dealing with these aweful customers services reps, I have food rotting in my freezer, because they won't give me the authorization number. I've had this freezer only a few months. I hope to never have to deal with this company again.

I am surprised there has been no class action lawsuit against this company! There are so many complaints found online, I can't imagine the ones/customers that don't rate and experience issues dealing with them is probably more than double. They sell an many inferior products that are all junk! See this list which includes RCA, IGLOO, SYLVANIA. All names that are associated with quality back in the day. I firmly believe that a class action lawsuit needs to be filed against this company! Distributors of these products need to stop selling to consumer's and let the invisible hand of the market take this company down. I think I will make a webpage against this company. I agree! Bought a tv that THEY manufactured on July 31, 2015 and it no longer works.

They refuse to replace it under their "1 year manufacturers warranty". ***!

In less than a year it stopped working called egloo got told they only licensed ther name that the ice Machine is made by a another company . I received this as a gift so I had no receipt so I was told they would not honor a warranty ok I just want it fixed was told to look in my phone book to find a repair shop this just not right I will never purchase a product from egloo again ya know I have a ford car lots of the parts and the car is made Else where but when it needs repair I take it to ford and they fix it whether or not ford made it or it was licensed out

I cannot understand a word the first time I called (male), or the second (female). They are asking me questions for example, is my freezer plugged in, was my door closed, is the temperature set correctly, and the one I liked the best, was it working before.

If you are going to support the USA, Chine, or Iceland, at least have enough respect to hire an individual in the customer service department that can articulate the language.

Just because it's English, I think that is what they are trying to communicate with, it should be pronounced closely to the region that it represents.

I guess I just too old to expect a reasonable level of service anymore.

They don't mind charging for good service, they just can't deliver it.
