Curtis International - Defective product; horrible customer service
Purchased in January and stopped working in May.The company says I have to pay $7 for "insurance to return the item" and I also have to pay to ship it back.
I've never heard of such a thing for a defective product. Any time I have ever had an issue with a defective product for another company, I was not required to pay for the return shipping. This ice maker has a 20 lbs shipping weight. The estimated cost to ship is about $45.
I only paid $100 for the unit. Even worse, this company has employed foreign workers who speak broken English, at best, to facilitate their customer service.
I will never purchase another Igloo product in my life, or any item sold by this distributor.Horrible customer service.
