Curtis International - Terrible Customer Service
my RCA ice maker stopped working after a year. Under warranty still. After jumping through hoops of "take a picture of this", "video tape that", "another picture of this", "we need your name and address"... and again, "we need your address".. and yet a third time "we need your address"... then we wait.. until they "decide" if they will honour the warranty. They do, BUT.. a shipping charge PLUS insurance, and then collect.. it would cost us more than the stupid ice maker.
What horrible terrible useless information. What's the point of offering a warranty exactly? I will never purchase an RCA product again, only because they use a terrible warranty company.
THIS is why people don't purchase "EXTRA" warranty coverage. It's just a bunch of *** Back to PLASTICE ICE CUBE TRAYS for us..
your ice maker is now in the junkyard.
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
Monetary Loss: $250.
Curtis International Cons: Difficulty in making a warranty claim.
